This is a service provided to our clients who wish to match an antenna to their Tx/Rx circuits to achieve the best RF performance in their systems.

SimianRF Turnkey Antenna Matching Process:

1) The client gets in touch with us through the online contact form: Link

2) SimianRF responds to the client within 24 hours.

3) SimianRF requests additional details regarding the task

Mainly the following will be required to move forward:

A) Relevant Schematics

B) Layout with stackup

C) Frequency range of operation

D) Parts BOM (Bill of Materials)

4) After analysis the client will be requested to make the payment in full for the appropriate antenna matching service.

5) Client ships the following items to SimianRF:

A) 3 identical pcbs along with antenna and enclosures.

B) Also Include qty .3 Tx and/or Rx pcbs if Tx/Rx matching is also requested.

C) Please note that all pcbs should be fully populated with default BOM parts.

D) Include power supplies required to power the boards.
6) Antenna matching will be designed and implemented within 7 days of receiving all the materials and successful payment from the client.

7) In the process of testing and implementation of matching the 2 of the 3 boards might be rendered inoperable because of inevitably cutting traces, soldering probes and installing matching components. One of the 3 boards will be in working condition so that the client can test out the performance after the matching operation.

8) A comprehensive report including before and after Return Loss plots will be provided.

9) All of the client items will be shipped back at the owner’s cost.

The client pays for the shipping both ways and is free to use its own shipping service.

They can also use SimianRF’s shipping through Fedex which most of the time turns out to be much cheaper.
